1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the iClixa Cleaner mobile application, the iClixa Cleaner website, customer-support communications, and related services that display or link to this policy. In this document, “iClixa Cleaner,” “iClixa,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of those services. “You” means the person using the services or the person responsible for a device on which the application is installed.

iClixa Cleaner helps people review photographs and videos, find visually similar or duplicate media, identify large files, organize contacts and calendar entries, clear supported temporary data, review device-health signals, and use selected protection tools. The exact features available to you depend on your device, operating-system version, region, subscription, and the permissions you choose to grant.

This policy distinguishes between information processed locally on your device and information transmitted to us or a service provider. A file that is analyzed locally is not automatically uploaded. Where a function can operate on-device, we design it to use local processing. When transmission is required—for example, to submit a support message or validate a subscription—we limit the information used to what is reasonably needed for that task.

2. Information we process

Information you deliberately provide

If you contact us, we receive the fields you submit, such as your name, email address, subject, and message. You may also provide screenshots, device details, purchase references, or other material when asking for help. Please remove information that is not relevant and never send passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card numbers, private photographs, or another person’s confidential information.

Application and device diagnostics

The application may generate technical information needed to remain compatible and reliable, including application version, operating-system version, device family, language, time zone, feature availability, permission state, crash data, launch timing, screen or workflow where an error occurred, and a randomized installation or diagnostic identifier. Diagnostic events are intended to describe how the software behaved, not the content stored on your phone.

Usage events

We may process limited events such as whether a scan started or completed, the category of a cleanup recommendation, whether a feature was opened, general performance measurements, and whether an error occurred. When statistics are used to improve the product, we seek to aggregate or minimize them. We do not use cleanup results to create advertising profiles.

Subscription and transaction status

Purchases are normally handled by the marketplace through which the application was obtained. We may receive a product identifier, transaction or original-transaction reference, subscription state, renewal or expiration information, storefront country, trial eligibility, and confirmation that a transaction was completed. The marketplace—not iClixa Cleaner—processes your full payment credentials.

Website request information

When a website is requested, hosting and security systems ordinarily receive an IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, referral information, approximate location derived from an IP address, and request time. This information may be used to deliver the page, prevent abuse, troubleshoot outages, and understand aggregate traffic. The contact form uses a form-delivery provider to route the message you choose to submit.

3. How cleaner features handle content

Photo and video review

When you grant photo-library permission, iClixa Cleaner may read the media attributes made available by the operating system, such as file size, format, dimensions, duration, creation date, library identifier, and visual characteristics needed to compare items. The application may create temporary thumbnails or similarity signatures on the device. These working values are used to group likely duplicates, similar shots, screenshots, blurry images, or large videos. A recommendation does not delete anything by itself unless the interface clearly asks you to confirm an action.

Your media library may contain faces, documents, location clues, or other sensitive material. iClixa Cleaner is designed so that ordinary library analysis occurs on the device. We do not claim ownership of your media. If a future feature requires cloud analysis, it must identify that transmission before it occurs and this policy must be updated to explain the purpose, recipient, and retention period.

Contacts and calendar organization

With your permission, the application may compare contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, record identifiers, missing-field indicators, and duplicate candidates. Calendar cleanup may examine event identifiers, titles, dates, recurrence information, and whether an event is in the past. These categories are processed to display organization suggestions and carry out actions you confirm. We do not use address-book or calendar content for advertising, lead generation, or selling contact lists.

Storage and cache information

Operating systems limit what an application can inspect or remove. iClixa Cleaner may calculate the size of accessible files, supported temporary items, and app-created cache data. Storage figures may be estimates and may change as the operating system performs its own maintenance. We do not bypass platform security boundaries to access another application’s private container.

Device security and health

Security and health screens may use signals exposed by the operating system, such as software version, available storage, permission status, network state, battery or performance indicators, and supported configuration checks. Results are informational. They are not a forensic examination and are not intended to identify every possible compromise.

Ad blocking and message filtering

If available and enabled, content-blocking rules may be applied by the operating system or browser extension. Message-filtering features may classify supported sender or message characteristics on-device or through a separately disclosed service. We do not use filtered-message content to target advertisements. The feature can make mistakes, so you should review important messages and platform-provided filtered folders.

4. Why information is used

We use information to provide the feature you requested; present cleanup candidates; perform an action you confirm; restore purchases; maintain subscription access; answer support requests; investigate crashes; measure reliability; prevent spam, fraud, and technical abuse; protect our users and infrastructure; comply with lawful obligations; and improve the clarity, speed, accessibility, and safety of iClixa Cleaner.

Where a legal basis is required, processing may be necessary to perform our agreement with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, required to comply with law, or based on consent. Consent can be withdrawn through the application, device settings, or by contacting us, but withdrawal does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use the contents of your photos, videos, contacts, calendars, or support messages to build third-party advertising audiences. We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated cleanup classifications.

5. Device permissions and your control

iClixa Cleaner requests a permission when a feature needs access controlled by the operating system. Depending on your device, permissions may include photos or selected photos, contacts, calendars, notifications, network-related capabilities, or access to supported storage information. A permission request should appear near the feature that needs it and should describe the intended use.

You can deny or later revoke a permission in system settings. Revocation may stop a related feature from working, but it does not prevent you from using unrelated portions of the application. Where the platform supports limited-library access, you may choose only selected media. The application should not treat permission for one function as consent for an unrelated use.

Deletion actions require special care. iClixa Cleaner presents candidates and may ask for confirmation before requesting the operating system to remove them. Deleted items may remain in a platform “Recently Deleted” location for a period controlled by the platform. Review candidates and maintain backups before confirming a large cleanup.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We may use companies that provide hosting, content delivery, form routing, crash diagnostics, subscription verification, customer support, security monitoring, and other operational services. They may process limited information only to perform the service supplied to us and must protect it under contractual and legal obligations. We evaluate integrations in light of the information they receive and the purpose for which it is needed.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a valid legal obligation; respond to lawful process; investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident; protect the safety and rights of users or others; enforce our agreements; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. We may also transfer information in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, acquisition, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

Providers may operate in another country. When required, international transfers use recognized safeguards such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions, or another lawful mechanism. Protection can differ between jurisdictions, but a transfer does not give a provider permission to use information for its own unrelated purposes.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep information for the shortest period reasonably suited to its purpose. Support correspondence may be retained while a request is open and for a limited period afterward to maintain context, handle follow-up questions, and prevent abuse. Transaction and entitlement records may remain longer where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, or legal compliance. Diagnostic data is generally kept for a shorter product-improvement cycle and may be retained in aggregate form.

Content analyzed locally remains under the storage and deletion controls of your device. Removing the application normally deletes its local application container, subject to platform behavior and backups. It does not automatically remove an App Store subscription or messages previously sent to support.

When retained information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it until routine deletion is possible. Backup copies may persist for a limited recovery cycle and are not returned to ordinary production use except during restoration or incident response.

8. Privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about categories of collection and disclosure. You may have the right to object to certain processing, withdraw consent, appeal a denied request, or complain to a data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against a person for exercising a legally protected privacy right.

California residents may have rights to know, correct, delete, and receive information about collection, use, sale, sharing, and disclosure. iClixa Cleaner does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are generally used in California privacy law. If our practices change, we will update this disclosure and provide any required opt-out mechanism.

To make a request, use the contact method below and describe the request and the service involved. We may verify your identity or authority before responding. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate relevant records. Some requests can be limited by law—for example, when information must be kept to complete a transaction, detect fraud, comply with a legal duty, or establish legal claims.

9. Security practices

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information processed. Measures may include transport encryption, access controls, limited production permissions, dependency review, logging, backup protection, and procedures for investigating suspected incidents. No application or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and no cleaner can substitute for device updates, strong account credentials, and reliable backups.

If we determine that a security incident requires notification, we will provide notice in accordance with applicable law and through a channel reasonably suited to the circumstances.

10. Children’s privacy

iClixa Cleaner is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly request that children submit personal information through the website. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and take suitable action.

11. Changes to this policy

Features, platform permissions, and legal requirements can change. We may update this policy to reflect those changes. The updated version will show a new effective date. If a change materially affects how personal information is used, we will provide additional notice where required. Earlier versions apply to processing that occurred while they were effective unless law requires otherwise.

12. Contact iClixa Cleaner

For a privacy question, deletion request, access request, or concern about how a feature handles information, use the contact form. Include enough detail for us to understand the request, but do not include passwords, authentication codes, or unrelated sensitive files.
